Passionate Leadership - 2010
2-Day Workshop |
The workshop presents a leadership model that fosters relationships that lead to enhanced performance. Dr Robert Norton takes participants on a journey of exploration. You are invited to make connections to your own lives, personally and professionally. In the process, you will discover what it takes to be a passionate leader.
|
In the workshop, Dr Norton presents a model for passionate leaders that consists of six tasks. The six tasks are like tumblers in a lock. Unless all six tumblers are aligned, the lock will not open. Unless all six tasks are in place, a person cannot passionately lead.
|
| |
Task #1: The leadership model begins with the need to have a worthy quest.
Task #2: The passionate leader knows what it means to bring life to one’s values.
Task #3: The passionate leader demonstrates the need to obtain permission to lead.
Task #4: The passionate leader pinpoints the essential need to have the right people in the right jobs.
Task #5: An iron will is essential for the passionate leader.
Task #6: Finally, the passionate leader cultivates community support. |
